Starting as a  producer at Xfm and BBC 6 Music prior to his work as a filmmaker and possessing a lifelong passion for film, Rob began to write and direct his own material in 2008, winning an award for debut short ‘The Driving Test’ at the Raindance Film Festival. He later co-founded Cork on the Fork Productions, which produced numerous critically acclaimed short films, music videos and corporate work.

His debut no-budget comedy feature ‘Down The Road’ has been released on Amazon through a partnership with MY Productions and his short film 'Mark & Alan' screened at both the 2014 London Short Film Festival and Aesthetica Film Festival.
 

Now freelance, he continues to produce a variety of film work alongside producing content for a range of clients, film festivals and charities that include the NHS, Unilever and Zero Gravity Pilates amongst others.

His short documentary 'An Artist's Story: The Past, The Present & The Future', a collaboration with the artist Emma Tweedie, screened as part of the 2019 Manchester International Film Festival.  Rob also completed editing on the feature documentary 'DTF' which was released by Lionsgate UK and went to No.1 on the iTunes Documentary chart.

Most recently he produced, directed and edited a series of short documentaries for Rosebud Productions focusing on female creatives in the Manchester area.

He has just finished post prdocution on a second lo budget feature entitled 'A Weekend Away' which was shot over five days in the winter of 2021 and is currently being submitted to film festivals.
